The History Department has teaching and research branches in ancient Chinese history, modern Chinese history, world history, intellectual and cultural history, and also Research Center of Bamboo and Silk Inscriptions and Unearthed Literatures, Research Center of Chinese Classics, Research Center of Chinese Economic History, Research Center of Modern Chinese Culture and Modernization, Institute of International Sinology, Institute of Northeast Asia Research, Research Center of Tourist Culture and Cultural Heritages. The Department has been authored to enroll undergraduates, graduates and doctoral students (including international students) in all areas of the study of history.
